This summer plan a trip using the cycling and walking journey planner to one of our top destinations, tell us what makes that trip special, and win!
Prizes include vouchers, free entry to the participating destinations and more. How do you enter?
Go to www.journeyplanner.org.nz, design a trip and it will automatically be sent to us when you use the journey planner feedback form (at top-right of the web page). In your entry, write a couple of sentences about the highlights of your trip.
Make sure you include your name, postal address or email contact details so we can let you know if you have won.
The competition starts on Wednesday 25 November and runs through until 30 March. Entry is limited to one per person per week. Staff and family of Greater Wellington regional council are not eligible to enter.
How does the winner get picked?
A random draw of each week’s entries will be made every Wednesday while the competition is on. Winners will be notified by Friday of each week.

Terms and Conditions
Entries will close at midnight on Tuesday of each week till the promotion ends on 30th March 2010. The first draw will be for entries submitted by midnight Tuesday 1st December 2009. Names will be drawn each Wednesday while the competition is running and prize winners will be notified using the contact details they provided. By accepting a prize, prize winners agree that their names may be posted on the Journey Planner or Active a2b websites. Greater Wellington Regional Council employees (and their family members) are not eligible to enter this prize draw.
Entry is open to residents of the Wellington Region, New Zealand. The promoter (Greater Wellington Regional Council) is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered during the course of accepting or using a prize, except which cannot be excluded by law. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Let me be the first to break the silence and noisily say it’s a great idea to run a competition and as soon as I get around to planning a trip I’ll send in an entry. Right now it’s head down till the end of the year and the only trips I do are to and from work!
